Welcome to West Side Photography web site and photo gallery. We feature photography from the West side of Los Angeles - scenic views, architecture, people, animals, birds, pictures of the beach, ocean sunsets and more.

Our current exhibition West Side Beach Birds features photos of seagulls and other sea birds walking, flying, fighting for food or just posing.

Birds on the city beaches are adapted to living close to people. Seagulls surround you when they see that you have food and just patiently wait for leftovers.

Birds ferociously compete for food with a lot of noise and chasing around. As soon as a bird sees a piece of food it can reach it grabs it and runs away trying to swallow it fast, because others are following.
